#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving dedicated to supporting charities, nonprofits, and foundations that are committed to bettering the world. Every year, #GivingTuesday takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving – this year that is November 29th. You can read more about it in this blog. This #GivingTuesday, we are asking you to support The Bee Foundation.
Why support The Bee Foundation this #GivingTuesday?
Founded in May 2014, The Bee Foundation is a Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising awareness and reducing the number of deaths caused by brain aneurysms through innovative preventive research. We are a highly effective foundation that is able to devote two-thirds of donations directly to preventive research funding (in the form of an Annual Research Grant) and educating the public about this deadly condition (such as the successful lobbying effort that resulted in a $25 million proposal for research funding to the House of Representatives).
Why give to brain aneurysm research?
One in 50 Americans have an unruptured brain aneurysm. Four in 10 people whose brain aneurysms rupture will die as a result. Click the image below to watch The Bee Foundation’s informative video and learn more about the need for preventive brain aneurysm research funding:
Show your support for The Bee Foundation and help us reduce, and eventually eliminate, this deadly condition.
