TBF ZINE

The TBF ambassadors are proud to announce that we are launching a new Digital Zine (short, self-published magazine) to feature your visual art and writing. Our Zine is titled The Apiary; it will be published quarterly. The work in this zine need not be about aneurysms. Each issue will have a theme, and community members can submit work about or in response to that theme.
renewal and beginnings

The theme of our first issue is Beginnings/Renewal
(sunrise, dawn rebirth, freshness).

We are now accepting submissions. We are accepting photographs of any visual art, poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. Prepare all your autumnal writing (under 1000 words) and visual art (1-2 images).

So all you creative survivors, caregivers, medical researchers and providers, and anyone else with a relationship to brain aneurysm, this is your chance to share your creative side!

The deadline to submit to this first issue is November 30.

Special thanks to TBF Ambassador, Claudia Mallea, the lead creator of the TBF Zine

BRAIN ANEURYSM'S 101

An estimated 6 million people in the United States have an unruptured brain aneurysm, or 1 in 50 people. There are almost 500,000 deaths worldwide each year caused by brain aneurysms and half the victims are younger than 50.

Together We Can Increase Awareness

We are actively seeking volunteers to assist with our fundraising events to increase Brain Aneurysm Prevention and Awareness. We have opportunities for all ages, skill sets and durations. Please join our vibrant community of  TBF advocates and contact us today!
