Dr. Hussain is the Head of the Cleveland Clinic Stroke Program and Assistant Professor of Medicine (Neurology) at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.
He obtained his medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada, followed by Neurology residency in Vascular Neurology Fellowship at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. He then transitioned to the Cleveland Clinic and performed an Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology fellowship. He is an avid researcher, with over 100 peer reviewed publications and numerous presentations at national and international scientific meetings.
His research and clinical interests include MRI imaging of acute ischemic stroke and Endovascular therapy for hemorrhagic and ischemic cerebrovascular disease.
