The Bee Foundation (TBF), a national nonprofit organization launched to support brain aneurysm research and awareness, will host it’s 2nd Annual Honey Bash Gala, Auction, and Fundraiser on September 19th, 2015 at the Independence Seaport Museum in Philadelphia, PA.
The success of TBF’s inaugural 2014 Honey Bash raised over $50,000 to support brain aneurysm research. TBF’s unique success in funding brain aneurysm research has received accolades from leading thought leaders and medical institutions in the field. This year’s second annual Gala is no exception and will feature:
Keynote Speaker:
- Dr. M. Shazam Hussain
- Head of the Cleveland Clinic Stroke Program & Assistant Professor of Medicine (Neurology) at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine
2015 TBF Research Grant Recipient
- Dr. Aichi Chien
- Associate Professor in the Division of Interventional Neuroradiology at UCLA.
Dr. Aichi Chien and the Department of Radiological Sciences’ Division of Interventional Neuroradiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA were awarded the 2015 TBF Research Grant for $50,000 to further their research into early rupture risk factors using 3D analysis.
