The Bryden Family is on a Mission and They Need Your Help
After losing their beloved family member Ken Bryden Jr., to an unexpected brain aneurysm in March of 2017, they decided to join the cause and do everything in their power to help spread awareness and raise funds for brain aneurysm awareness. They’ve done so much in the past year alone to raise funds to help promote research such as hosting a fundraising campaign in partnership with Mama B’s Kitchen that surpassed their $1,000 goal by 45% The fundraiser included selling Otis Spunkenmeyer chocolate chip cookies, and all proceeds were donated to our organization, the Bee Foundation to further research the underlying causes and symptoms of brain aneurysm.
Next Steps
But that just wasn’t enough for the Bryden Family. They’re taking their efforts to the next level on Saturday, June 30th with their first ever Kenny R. Bryden Jr. Golf Tournament for Brain Aneurysm Research. The tournament will begin promptly at 1:00 pm and will be held at the Emanon Country Club, 543 Old State Road, Falls, PA. Alison Sedney, Board Member of the Bee Foundation, will be attending to represent the Foundation, promote awareness and sell merchandise. The goal of the tournament was to have everyone attending sponsor a hole, or a cart, so that they could contribute to the cause. Now that the event is sold out, you might be wondering how you can still donate to their cause and help to fund this research in memory of Ken.
How You Can Help
Luckily, the family has set up a donation page in coordination with the event due to the fact that the event itself sold out. Feel free to donate if you are interested in taking part in this cause and supporting their families efforts in funding brain aneurysm research.
All proceeds will go to our organization, the Bee Foundation to help promote awareness and gather innovative research into the causes and symptoms of brain aneurysms.
