On Friday, April 26th, 2024, The Bee Foundation (TBF) hosted an impactful Community & Health Education Reception at the Saturday Club in Wayne, PA. The event brought together community members, healthcare professionals, and first responders for an enlightening and informative session on brain aneurysm awareness, signs, symptoms, and emergency transport best practices.

The evening kicked off at 5:00 pm with a warm welcome to all attendees. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and a shared commitment to raising awareness about brain aneurysms and promoting prevention strategies.

Our distinguished guest speakers, Matt Hepler, RN, EMT-B, Stroke Program Manager at Bryn Mawr Hospital, and Tracy Faulkner, Pharm. D., TBF Ambassador, captivated the audience with their expertise and insights. Matt Hepler’s presentation shed light on the critical role of early recognition and intervention in stroke and aneurysm cases. Tracy Faulkner shared her personal journey and emphasized the importance of advocacy and education in saving lives.

Throughout the evening, attendees engaged in interactive discussions, Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities. The event provided a platform for sharing experiences, exchanging knowledge, and fostering collaborations among healthcare professionals and community members.

As the program concluded, attendees gathered for a cocktail reception, hosted by Cornerstone Bistro & Artisanal Market, where lively conversations continued, and new connections were forged.
