The Bee Foundation to Host 3rd Annual Honey Bash Gala for Brain Aneurysm Research Sept. 17th in Philadelphia, PA

The Bee Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to raising awareness and, through innovative research, reducing the number of deaths caused by brain aneurysms, will hold its third annual major fundraiser, the Honey Bash Gala, on Sept. 17th, 2016. The event will be held at the Chemical Heritage Foundation Museum in Philadelphia, PA.

The evening will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dancing, and a live and silent auction. New this year, the Honey Bash will be featuring a “Taste of Garces” – take your taste buds through a tour of the restaurants of Philadelphia’s James Beard Winning Chef Jose Garces.

Guest speakers will include Dr. J Mocco, an highly influential physician in the field of brain aneurysm surgery and research, and a member of The Bee Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Board, as well as Dr. Ahem J Awad, the recipient of The Bee Foundation’s second $50,000 research grant. Also speaking will be the Guest of Honor, Sally Freedman, a brain aneurysm survivor.

In the past year, The Bee Foundation has been hard at work raising awareness of brain aneurysms as well as funding to support innovative research.
